HOW WE SERVE THE COMMUNITY

Education & Creative Development

We support artists at every level — professional, amateur, beginner, youth and gospel artists — especially those from African communities across Greater London and England.

Through access to music and sound equipment, guidance, and practical mentoring, we help artists grow their talents and express themselves confidently.

Immigration Support Services

We provide information, guidance and signposting for refugees and asylum seekers living in the UK.

Our aim is to help individuals understand their rights and navigate the immigration and asylum process with clarity and dignity.

Recreation & Holiday Activities

We organise a variety of leisure and recreational activities during school holidays and summer periods.

These include day trips to places such as London Zoo, museums, libraries, beaches, piers and other UK attractions — creating fun, safe and memorable experiences for children, young people and families.

Advice & Support Services

The African Arts and Advice Centre is committed to helping individuals with immigration and asylum matters.

We offer guidance on asylum and immigration law, support with asylum cases and appeals, and assistance with applications for British nationality and work permits.

OUR RECENT ACTIVITIES

Our recent programmes have brought joy, learning and connection across the BAME community. We organised day trips for children and young people, giving them the chance to explore London and experience new environments filled with happiness and excitement. We also delivered adult workshops that supported creativity, wellbeing and personal growth within the BAME community. In addition, our activities for older members of the BME communities helped reduce isolation and bring meaningful moments of joy and togetherness. Through these initiatives, we continue to uplift every generation we serve.
